School terms

The agreement between a school and mockJLPT. It adds to the terms of service, which still apply to every person who uses the site. Last updated 24 September 2026.

1. The service for schools

mockJLPT for schools lets a school (a language school, university, company, agency or other organisation, the School) give its students access to mockJLPT's online mock tests, assign tests to classes, read a gradebook, and upload its own papers. It is operated by Ayan Sengupta (セングプタ アヤン), sole proprietor, trading as mockJLPT.

学校（語学学校、大学、企業、送り出し機関等）が、学生に模擬試験を受けさせ、クラスに課題を出し、成績表を閲覧し、自校の問題をアップロードできるサービスです。

2. Accounts and roles

• The person who creates the School on mockjlpt.com becomes its first admin and confirms that they are authorised to accept these terms for the School.
• Admins may add teachers and other admins. Teachers and admins are responsible for what they do on the School's account.
• The School may create student accounts by name and student ID. It is responsible for having the right to enter that information, for telling students that their tests and results are visible to their teachers, and for keeping passwords safe.
• Students who join with their own mockJLPT account keep that account after they leave the School; their results stay with them.

3. Trial

A new School gets a free trial: 30 days, one class, up to 40 students, every level, no payment details. When the trial ends, students can no longer take tests until seats are bought; staff keep access to the gradebook.

新規の学校は30日間、1クラス・最大40名・全レベルを無料で利用できます。試用期間終了後は座席を購入するまで学生は受験できませんが、教員は成績表を引き続き閲覧できます。

4. Seats, price and term

• Access is sold as seats: one seat per student, for one year from the date the invoice is paid. A seat gives the student every mockJLPT mock test at the School's licensed levels, plus anything the School assigns or uploads.
• The price is ¥3,000 per seat per year including 10% Japanese consumption tax, with a minimum of 10 seats. Prices are shown on the site and on the invoice before you buy. We may change prices for future terms with at least 30 days' notice; a paid term is never affected.
• Seats can be reassigned to new students when someone leaves. Extra seats can be bought during the term; they end on the same date as the existing ones and are charged pro rata.
• The term does not renew automatically. We remind you before it ends; access stops if it is not renewed.

利用権は「座席」単位で、学生1名につき1座席、請求書のお支払日から1年間有効です。価格は1座席あたり年額3,000円（消費税10%込）、最低10座席です。期間中の追加座席は日割りで、既存の座席と同じ日に終了します。自動更新はありません。

5. Invoices and payment

• We issue an invoice (請求書, a qualified invoice carrying registration number T2810604733191) through Stripe. It can be paid by bank transfer to the account shown on the invoice or by card, within 30 days. A quotation (見積書) is available on request.
• Seats become active when the payment is received. Bank transfer fees are paid by the School.
• Seat purchases are not refundable once active. If mockJLPT does not work as described because of a fault on our side and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we refund the unused part of the term.

Stripe経由で適格請求書（登録番号 T2810604733191）を発行します。銀行振込またはカードで30日以内にお支払いください。見積書は依頼に応じて発行します。入金確認後に座席が有効になります。振込手数料は学校のご負担です。有効化後の返金は、当方の不具合を合理的な期間内に修正できない場合を除き、お受けできません。

6. Content

• mockJLPT's tests are licensed to the School for use with its own enrolled students only. They may not be copied, printed for distribution, screen-recorded, shared with other schools or used to build another product.
• Papers the School uploads stay the School's property and are visible only to the School's staff and students. The School confirms it has the rights to the material it uploads and that it does not infringe anyone's copyright. We may remove uploaded material that we reasonably believe infringes rights or breaks the law, and we will tell you if we do.
• We may correct or replace mockJLPT questions at any time to fix errors.

7. Student data

• For students' personal information the School is the controller and mockJLPT the processor: we use it only to run the service for the School, under our privacy policy, and we do not use it for marketing.
• We store it with the providers listed in the privacy policy (Neon, Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend), some of them outside Japan, with the safeguards described there.
• The School can export results (CSV) and delete students at any time. On request we delete a student's account and results, or the whole School, within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting.
• Thirty days after a licence ends without renewal, student accounts the School created are deleted. Students who joined with their own account keep it.
• We tell the School's admin contact without undue delay if we become aware of a personal-data breach affecting its students.

学生の個人情報について、学校が管理者、mockJLPTが処理者となり、当方は学校のためのサービス提供のみに利用し、マーケティングには使用しません。学校はいつでも成績をCSVで出力し、学生を削除できます。依頼があれば30日以内に学生または学校全体のデータを削除します（税務上保存が必要な記録を除く）。契約終了後30日で、学校が作成した学生アカウントは削除されます。

8. Acceptable use and suspension

The rules in section 7 of the terms of service apply to every user of the School's account. We may suspend a School that breaks these terms or does not pay, after telling the admin contact and giving a reasonable chance to fix it, except where the breach is serious or unlawful.

利用規約第7条の禁止事項はすべての利用者に適用されます。規約違反や未払いがある場合、原則として管理者に通知し是正の機会を与えたうえで、学校のアカウントを停止することがあります。

9. Availability, liability, changes, law

• Sections 9 to 12 of the terms of service apply (availability, liability limited to what the School paid for the current term, changes with notice, Japanese law and courts).
• We may update these school terms; we tell the admin contact at least 30 days before a change that affects a paid term, and a School that does not accept it may end the term and receive a pro-rata refund.

可用性、責任の上限（当該期間に学校が支払った金額）、変更、準拠法（日本法）については利用規約第9条から第12条が適用されます。本規約の変更は管理者に30日前までに通知し、同意できない学校は契約を終了して未経過分の返金を受けられます。
